Makea Moment was created to make reducing food waste simple and effortless. Every day, cafés and small food producers in Tallinn and Tartu are left with perfectly good treats that go unsold.
We bridge the gap by helping people discover these delicious items at accessible prices - turning potential waste into moments of joy.
Together, we support small businesses, rescue fresh treats from being thrown away, and build a more sustainable community in Estonia.

Here’s how Makea Moment helps you rescue delicious surplus treats - simply and sustainably.
1. Partners list their surplus treats
Our café, bakery, and food producer partners share their fresh surplus treats at the end of the day - so you can enjoy them for a friendly price.
2. You reserve your favorites
Browse available offers and pick what you like. Reserve it instantly - no payment on the website/app during the experiment phase.
3. Pick up & enjoy (and support local businesses!)
Head to the chosen location during the pickup window, grab your treat at a discount, and enjoy! Every reservation helps reduce food waste and supports small businesses.
Eco Points (coming soon!)
Your purchases will earn eco points — and once you reach a threshold, we plant a real tree through a certified reforestation partner.
Good treats → less waste → more trees.

You choose discounted treats from local cafés, bakeries, or food producers, reserve them, through our website, and pick them up before closing time.

2. Do I pay on the website?
Not yet - during the experiment phase, payment happens directly at the café during pickup.
3. What are Eco Points?
Every reservation will earn Eco Points. Once you collect enough, we plant a real tree through a certified reforestation partner.
